This was a hailstorm at my parent's house this summer. The hail itself was about the size of a quarter. It damaged the roof of the cars and even cracked two window panes.

The sound of hail and seeing it covering the grass always amazes me.

Great picture of the hail. I live in the south and it rarely hails. A few years ago we did have a hailstorm, but it was at night and we couldn't see it...just hear it! Thanks for sharing.
